“Nightvision have an original hard rock sound that’s grabbing the attention of an ever widening audience” - BBC.co.uk

“Well . . . for me, I joined the band in 2005 (I think!!)
I followed Nightvision everywhere when they first got on the road, with the awesomely talented musician, Dan Smith, on bass guitar and vocals.
I always loved the sound of the bass guitar, and one day I just decided 'I’m going to buy one!!', so I did, and that was it. I used to practise for hours every single day after school, couldn’t wait to get home to see it.
As I was very eager to learn, I thought the best way to learn at the time was to watch what Dan did, so at a gig, all I did was look at what he did and how he played it. That night at probably 1 in the morning, I'd run up to my room, pick up my bass and imitate Dan's bass lines and I learnt pretty much every song that Nightvision had written together. I picked it up really fast and just loved playing it.
At this point it didn’t even cross my mind about joining the band, as I was really into my pop-punk, and the music that Nightvision was producing was far away from what I was playing.
I've always been a huge fan of good solid rock, but I have been exposed to more bands and different genres of music these past few years.
As the news came about of Dan’s departure, it then crossed my mind that I could have a place, but didn’t think I stood a chance as me and Daz didn’t always see eye to eye, it just didn’t seem a sane thing to do.
But . . . after much discussion, Bolda and Daz decided to ask me to join and make it my main priority. At this time I had been in a band for a long time and wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I knew deep down, what was offered to me was going to be big, they had big dreams and really wanted to get somewhere, so I accepted the offer and that was it.

From that day on we have practised hard as a band and really cracked on with composing songs and gigging around the country. It has been amazing since, and now with signing to Rocksector Records and the release of our album coming up in April I believe it will continue to get better and better."
